The Cozy Project
Spreading Warmth, Care, and Community — One Blanket at a Time
The Cozy Project was born from a simple idea: that a handmade blanket can be more than just something warm — it can be a gesture of kindness, comfort, and connection.
Through Twisted Threads, I’ve seen how something as simple as making a blanket can bring people together. The Cozy Project is my way of sharing that same feeling with those who need it most. Using leftover yarn and community donations, I create blankets that are donated to local individuals and organizations throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley.
Each blanket is made with the same care, creativity, and attention to detail as every Twisted Threads piece — but with an even deeper purpose: to remind people that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
How It Works
The Cozy Project runs year-round, creating handmade blankets for people and families who could use a little extra warmth and comfort. Sometimes that means donating to local shelters, hospitals, or community organizations. Other times, it’s delivering a blanket to someone going through a tough time.
I use leftover yarn from workshops and custom orders whenever possible — turning small pieces into something meaningful and new. It’s a beautiful way to reduce waste and give back to the same community that has supported Twisted Threads from the beginning.
Get Involved
If you’d like to support The Cozy Project — whether by donating yarn, contributing materials, helping spread the word, or connecting me with a Lehigh Valley organization that could benefit from this initiative — I’d love to hear from you.
